MILLS CONSTRUCTION CO., INC. – (“MCCI”) - Construction

Fred. G. Mills, Sr. started MS Development Corp. in 1968, a general contracting and real estate development company. The company began operating as Mills Construction Co., Inc. (“MCCI”) in 1978. Based in Shelby, North Carolina, the company primarily operated in western North Carolina building and developing both conventional and affordable single-family and multi-family housing.

In the early 1990’s, MCCI opened a branch office in Raleigh, North Carolina. Soon thereafter, the majority of MCCI’s business was located in the Raleigh/Durham area resulting in total relocation to Raleigh. The Shelby office was closed in 2004. Fred, Sr. continues to serve MCCI as Secretary - Treasurer and CEO.

Fred. G. Mills, Jr. joined MMCI in 1993 as Assistant Project Superintendent. In March, 2001, he was elected President and continues to serve as President and COO.
